Shengzong Zhou

Researcher of Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure, Chinese Academy of Sciences, executive chairman of Federation of Chinese Professional Associations in Europe (FCPAE) and chairman of Computer Society of Chinese Scholars in Germany.

Research field:computer software and theory, software engineering and computer application technology research.

In 1982, he graduated from Peking University, and then got his master degree from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1985. In 1994, he got his doctor degree from University of Salford, Germany. Since 2001, he has been the executive chairman of Federation of Chinese Professional Associations in Europe (FCPAE) and chairman of Computer Society of Chinese Scholars in Germany. Since 2003, he has been serving as an oversea expert of China Association for Science and Technology, and participated in the seventh and eighth national congress of China Association for Science and Technology as an overseas guest. He is mainly engaged in computer software and theory, software engineering and computer application technology research, especially related to software development methods, information systems, virtual manufacturing, virtual reality, 3d printing and other fields of advanced technology research.

Jianwei Zhang

Academician of the Hamburg Academy of Sciences, Professor of the University of Hamburg, Germany, Director of the Multimodal Technology Institute, Expert of “The Recruitment Program of Global Experts”.

Research field:Intelligence, machine learning, self-planning, multi-sensor information fusion, intelligent robots, multimodal human-computer interaction.

In 1986, he graduated from the Department of Computer Science of Tsinghua University with a bachelor's degree. He obtained a master's degree (Artificial Intelligence) from Tsinghua University in 1989 and a Ph.D. (Robot) degree from the Department of Computer Science of Karlsruhe University in Germany in 1994. He has published more than 300 monographs, won many best paper awards in international conferences, and has more than forty invention patents. He is the chairman of several conferences of international intelligent robots and intelligent control, the consultant of several international business companies, the president of the German Tsinghua Alumni Association, and the president of the German-Chinese Entrepreneurs Association.

Yu-Dong Zhang

Professor of University of Leicester, UK.

Research field:Deep learning and medical image analysis

Prof Yudong Zhang serves as a professor at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, UK. His research interests include deep learning and medical image analysis. He is the Fellow of IET, Fellow of EAI, and Fellow of BCS. He is the Senior Member of IEEE, IES, and ACM. He is the Distinguished Speaker of ACM. He was the 2019 & 2021 recipient of Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate. He has (co) authored over 400 peer-reviewed articles in the journals JAMA Psychiatry, Inf Fus, IEEE TFS, IEEE TII, IEEE TIP, IEEE TMI, IEEE IoTJ, Neural Networks, IEEE TITS, Pattern Recognition, IEEE TGRS, IEEE JBHI, IEEE TCSVT, IEEE TETCI, IEEE TCSS, IEEE JSTARS, IEEE TNSRE, IEEE SJ, ACM TKDD, ACM TOMM, IEEE/ACM TCBB, IEEE TCAS-II, IEEE JTEHM, ACM TMIS, etc. There are more than 50 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 5 ESI Hot Papers in his (co) authored publications. His citation reached 21670 in Google Scholar (h-index 82). He has conducted many successful industrial projects and academic grants from NIH, Royal Society, GCRF, EPSRC, MRC, Hope, British Council, and NSFC. He has given over 120 invited talks at international conferences, universities, and companies. He has served as (Co-) Chair for more than 60 international conferences and workshops. His research outputs have been reported by more than 50 news press, such as Reuters, BBC, Telegraph, Physics World, UK Today News, etc.

Mahesh Rao

Professor & HOD, Department of Electronics & Communication, MIT, Mysore.

Research field:3-D actuator design and control for Robots.

In 1988, Mahesh Rao completed his PhD from University of Wyoming, Laramie in 1988 in Electrical Engineering specializing in 3-D actuator design and control for Robots. He worked as Assistant Professor for five years at University of Reno, Nevada (1987 to 1992). While there he was successful in obtaining research grants to the tune of US$500,000 and has published several IEEE Journal articles. Graduated several Masters students. Then joined Intel as Technical Support Manager in 1992 (Sacramento USA) and went on to become Validation Manager for Intel Chipsets and the Program Manager for Integrated Microprocessors. He was recognized with Intel Achievement Award for his contributions to the Chipset development. In 2000 he returned to India as General Manager for Intel Bangalore. He then started his own Company, Aspire Communication in 2002 at Mysore. He was recognized by EDN Asia as the Innovator of the Year for his contributions to various products & ideas in 2003. In 2011, he returned to Academics and is now Professor and HOD at ECE Department, MIT Mysore. He has published extensively and has successfully obtained research grants from the Government of Karnataka.

He has successfully guided and graduated more than 20 master’s students & half a dozen PhD students. He has published more than 50 research papers, half a dozen IEEE Journal Articles, several Application Notes, White papers, etc.

K.K.THYAGHARAJAN
Professor and Dean (Research), Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, RMD Engineering College, India.
Research field:Computer vision, Semantic Web, Image & Video processing, Multimedia streaming, Video coding, Content-based information retrieval and e-learning.
Dr. K.K. Thyagharajan received his B.Eng. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Madras University, India and received his M.Eng. degree in Applied Electronics from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, India in 1988. He also possesses a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from Bharathiar University, India. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, India in 2007. He is in teaching profession for around three decades and served at various levels including Principal, Dean and Professor at various Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu-INDIA. During his tenure as a Principal and Dean he was a member of Governing Council of RMK Group of Institutions. He has written 5 books in Computing including “Flash MX 2004” published by McGraw Hill (India), which has served recommended as text and reference book by universities. He is a grant recipient of Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology. He has been invited as chairperson and delivered special lectures in many National and International conferences and workshops. He is reviewer and editorial board member for many International Journals and Conferences. He has published more than 90 papers in National & International Journals and Conferences. Five candidates have completed PhD and ten more are doing PhD under his supervision. He is a life member of ISTE, CSI INDIA and also senior member and invited member in many professional associations. He has been recognized by Marquis Who's Who in the World for his contribution to the technical society and his biography has been published in its 25th Anniversary Edition (2008). He has been recognized as a Teacher Par Excellence twice by the management of SSN institutions. He received Distinguished Faculty (Multimedia and Image Processing) Award in the Contemporary Academic Meet VICAM 2016 organized by Venus International Foundation.
Dimitrios A. Karras
Professor, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.

Dr. Dimitrios A. Karras received the Diploma and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree (with honors) in electrical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Athens, Greece, in 1985 and 1995, respectively. Currently, Dr. Dimitrios A. Karras is a professor in Data and AI Science, Digital and autonomous Intelligent Systems with the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, as well as adjunct Prof. Dr. with the GLA University, Mathura, India and EPOKA & CIT universities, Computer Engineering, Tirana. He has served in universities and research institutes for more than 25 years and published more than 75 refereed journal papers and more than 185 research papers in International refereed Conferences in the fields of intelligent and distributed/multi-agent systems, pattern recognition, image/signal processing and neural networks. He has served as program/general chair at several international conferences and, moreover as editor at several international journals in the fields of signal, image, communication and automation systems. He has been cited in more than 2500 research papers, being in the highest 10% of worldwide researchers.
Gian Luca Brunetti

Associate professor of Architectural Technology at the Polytechnic of Milan.

Research field:building design, building optimization, meta modelling, design methods, bioclimatic design.

Gian Luca Brunetti graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1991. From 1992 to 1995 he worked as an architectural designer in the architectural workshop of Marcello Pietrantoni in Milan. In 1995 he obtained a scholarship for a PhD research at the Polytechnic University of Milan. He defended his PhD thesis on thermal transition spaces in Architecture in April 1999 (supervisor: Prof. Bianca Bottero). In 1998 he became a graduate technician at the ABITA Laboratory, Polytechnic University of Milan, Department of Building, Environment and Sciences (BEST, now ABC). In 2006 he became a researcher of Architectural Technology at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Faculty of Architecture and Society. Since 2016 he is associate professor of Architectural Technology at the Polytechnic of Milan.

Ibrahim Mahariq
Associate Professor, The American University of the Middle East, Kuwait.
Research field:Computational methods in electrical engineering, Electromagnetics, Photonics, Electrical machine design and powerelectronics, Renewable energy.

Mahariq took his BSc degree from Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Palestine Polytechnic University, Hebron, Palestine (2003). His MSc and first PhD Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey (2009 and 2014). Then he took his second PhD Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, TOBB Economic and Technology University, Ankara, Turkey (2017). In 2018, Mahariq was promoted to Associate professor. Currently he is serving at American University of the Middle East, Kuwait. Mahariq is listed in the World's Top 2% Scientists is a list compiled by experts at Stanford University, based on data from Elsevier's Scopus, and published in PLOS Biology Journal (2021). He published more than 85 journal articles in field of engineering / computational methods.

Ganeshsree AP Selvachandran

Associate professor of Department of Actuarial Science and Applied Statistics, and serve as the Deputy Dean and Head of Research of the Faculty of Business and Management, UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Research field:fuzzy mathematics which includes fuzzy sets and systems, fuzzy algebra, fuzzy computing, fuzzy logic and fuzzy decision making, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Ganeshsree AP Selvachandran received her PhD degrees in Mathematics (specializing in Pure Mathematics) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2009, 2010 and 2013, respectively. She currently serves as the editor of five international journals and is an active reviewer for 23 international journals listed in the Web of Science. She has also served as a member of the scientific review committee for several local and international conferences. More than 60 research articles and conference papers have been published in these areas. In 2019, she was ranked no. 6 in the World Top Authors in the areas of fuzzy sets, fuzzy systems and complex fuzzy by Scopus, Elsevier and she is currently ranked no. 1 in the field of fuzzy algebra in Publons (Web of Science). In recognition of her expertise in fuzzy mathematics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, she was appointed as a member of the Special Interest Group on Oceanography of the Malaysian Academy of Sciences (Akademi Sains Malaysia (ASM)) in April 2020. To date, she has successfully obtained five research grants totaling more than MYR300,000 – four Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) grants from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia and one Pioneer Scientist Incentive Fund (PSIF) from UCSI University, Malaysia.

Önder GÜRCAN

Researcher engineer at French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).

Research field:Artificial Intelligence, Multi-Agent Systems, Collective Intelligence, Self-Organizing Systems, Distributed Problem Solving.

In Ege University, Dr. Önder GÜRCAN got his bachelor and master degrees, and in 2013, he got his PhD in artificial intelligence & computer engineering from Paul Sabatier University and Ege University respectively. Dr. Önder GÜRCAN is currently working as a researcher engineer at the Trustworthy, Intelligent, Self-organizing Information Systems Laboratory (LICIA) of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) since January 2017, where he carried out research in distributed problem solving in general. Before this, he has served as a scientific expert for ISO/TC 307 – Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies, International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Now he is interested in working on open interdisciplinary problems in domains like multi-agent systems, collective intelligence, self-organization and self-adaptation, biological systems, distributed clock synchronization and behavioral economics. More than 50 papers have been published in international journals and conferences, and he has completed more than 10 research projects.

Mohamed Arezki Mellal

Associate Professor, Fulbright Scholar in University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA.

Honorary Chief Advisor of the scholarly World Association for Scientific Research and Technical Innovation (WASRTI),Member of the Scientific Network for Innovation and Research Excellence (Machine Intelligence Research Labs.),Member of the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET).

Research field:Mechatronics, System dependability, Optimization using bio-inspired algorithms.

Mohamed Arezki Mellal got his Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Faculty of Technology, M’Hamed Bougara University, Boumerdes, Algeria. In 2016 and 2017, he went to Korea Aerospace University, South Korea and University of Essex, UK as a visiting Fellow. By now, he has published more than 40 papers in international journals.

Md Abdus Samad KAMAL

Associate Professor, Division of Mechanical Science and Technology, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Gunma University, Japan.

Research field:Control systems, Intelligent transportation systems (ITS), Cooperative autonomous driving, Mechtronics, Sensors and artificial perception, Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning.

Md Abdus Samad KAMAL got his master and doctor degrees from Dept. of Electrical and Electronics Systems Engineering, Kyushu University, Japan in 2003 and 2006 respectively. And then he served as a researcher in Department of Electrical and Electronics Systems Engineering, Kyushu University, Japan. From 2019, he starts working in Division of Mechanical Science and Technology, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Gunma University, Japan as an associate professor. Now, he is a member of Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.), IET, UK, the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In addition, he undertakes editors, gust editors for international journals, and has delivered keynote speeches for more than 15 conferences.

Madhurananda Pahar
Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Research field:Machine learning, Signal processing, Smart sensors, Artificial intelligence.

Madhurananda Pahar received his BSc in Mathematics from University of Calcutta, India; MSc in Computing for Financial Markets \& PhD in Computational Neuroscience from University of Stirling, Scotland. Currently he is working as a post-doctoral fellow in the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. His research interests are in machine learning and signal processing for audio signals and smart sensors in bio-medicine. Currently he is involved in the application of deep learning to the detection and classification of TB and COVID coughs in real-world environments as well as the monitoring of patient behaviour using smart sensors such as an accelerometer.

Hamid Doost Mohammadian
Full professor for International Sustainability and Theoretician of the 5th wave theory in 
Germany;Director for international management, consultant to president and head of FHM German Institute of SMEs (F-GISI) at University of Applied Sciences (FHM) in Germany.
Research field:Interdisciplinary studies.

He obtained his Post-Doc in Global SMEs Management, and two doctorates in business strategy and sustainability management & also an honorary doctorate in international sustainable development management, two master's in industrial engineering and SocioEcoEnvironmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Computer Hardware Engineering with Math and Physics background. He obtained two honorary professorships titles in Global SME Management and in International Technology Management and Entrepreneurship. He is also a visiting professor at Academy for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) in Berlin and PhD supervisor/examiner of FHM joint doctoral programs powered by two British State Universities. In addition, he is Professor and Board Member at London Institute of Skills Development (LISD), UK and Board Member at Swiss Institute of Cultural Diplomacy. Since 2017, he has been contributing as an academic leader to Erasmus + project named:"Internet of Energy (IoE)-Education/Qualification"in Germany and 6 EU partners.
